Welcome to Sedona Sky's Academic Treatment Programs For Adolescents in Arizona

Sedona Sky’s academic programs assist students in pursuing and achieving success, building knowledge, skills and most importantly, confidence. Certified, engaging teachers help students love learning again, reopening pathways for the future.

Low Staff to Student Ratio

Classes at Sedona Sky Academy are small, with a faculty-to-student ratio of approximately 1:4. This facilitates a warm, familiar atmosphere where we can provide individualized attention and scaffolded instruction to meet the varying needs of each student.

Individualized Education Plans

Individualized academic plans are created collaboratively, based on pertinent information gathered by the team; consulting staff, parents and the student herself. The plans identify your child’s strengths and challenges and corresponding accommodations or modifications that will help her succeed.

SSA’s credit requirements meet and exceed Arizona State Board of Education Graduation Requirements and are closely aligned with the California State University and University of California institutions of higher education “A-G” Requirements. Many of our graduates go on to study in prestigious national colleges, including Arizona State University, University of Arizona, California State University, Ithaca College and Chapman University.

College Preparation

In addition to our regular academic schedule, we provide college preparation for all students at developmentally appropriate stages. Our programs include SAT and ACT preparation classes and the opportunity to participate in AP and college-level courses where applicable. Working in collaboration with the parents, our educational consultant, and all other relevant staff members, we also assist students with 
college selection.

Progress reports

Our academic faculty communicates consistently with students and their families back home, sending out monthly progress reports. As students meet goals and recognize their progress through these reports, they rebuild confidence and a commitment to scholastic excellence.
