Tamara Garden, MA, LPC, Clinical Director

Tamara received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University. She received her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona. 

Tamara brings a narrative approach to the counseling process, which allows an understanding of the uniqueness of everyone. Tamara is considered a trauma specialist with specialized training in EMDR from the EMDR institute and Theraplay training from the Theraplay Institute, which allows her to provide effective therapeutic treatment of trauma. 

She also has specialized education in child development, ADHD in children and adults, disruptive behavior disorders, substance abuse and bullying. She has many years of experience dealing with anxiety, and depression disorders. 

As a mother of four, Tamara is passionate about helping adolescents develop sound boundaries and a positive sense of self. In her spare time, Tamara enjoys hiking, traveling, playing the piano, painting, and spending time with her family.
